Wow...what a welcome at the airport. We were so loved at 10:40 pm on Monday September 22 with approximately 40 smiling faces....lots of cheers, hugs, balloons, banners, cameras, gifts....it was great to be back in Nashville! Ellie loved it all!
When we got home she wandered through the house with eyes wide open just taking it all in. Finally about 1 AM all were in bed and quite happy. HOME! A family of 6...who would have ever guessed.
The week has been great! All are back in school and work. Ellie and I have had a good time just hanging out. Her english is coming along nicely. She repeats most everything, understands many things, and does speak a bit of English (that she actually understands and uses correctly). She continues to be all smiles and is a delight...although at times can be quite mischievous...just like the other Mullican kids.
Please continue to pray for us as we need to make decisions about school. She is farther along academically than we ever imagined and loves people...so we are talking to all at WGES (where the others go to school) about enrolling her in 3rd grade. Also, please continue to pray for us as we make medical decisions for Ellie and just the process of going to so many doctors. She did great at the pediatrician this week until they had to draw blood. Please pray with us that she would continue to know she is so loved even in the midst of a lot of doctor, dentist, and eye appts....and all that comes with those appointments.
We continue to feel the love from so many people. A huge thank you for all the prayers, gifts, food, words of encouragement, and just being who God called each of you to be as you love our family. We are truly a blessed family.

I will also continue to update the blog on occasion with news and photos...
